Reggae Poster

This is my final piece that I done for my college project. I created this by scanning an mixed media image that I done which is the fist in the middle, I then put my image into photoshop and then I cleaned it up i.e. took away the parts that were not needed or I didn't like the look of.

I then started adding effects to the image like adding a gradient background, Ink splats on the each side of the fist, Adding a texture to the background to give it a textured and grungy effect. Then I added my text saying 'Reggae' at the top and a motto to the bottom of the poster.

Overall I am happy with the way that it has turned out but there is things that I would change to improve it and to make it better. Like the text at the top saying 'Reggae' I would make that stand out more and the text at the bottom saying 'Jamaica's gift to the world'. Because when I printed it out it came out weaker that what it looked like on the screen of the PC.
